Translated as “Let the good times roll,” this Cajun expression captures the personal and professional philosophy of Bo McDonald, founder and president of Your Marketing Co, a creative and strategic marketing agency for those in the financial services industry. With a diverse client base that stretches from coast to coast and personal residences in two separate states, Bo takes pride in finding new ways to challenge the complacent comfort of the status quo.

After beginning his professional career as a radio DJ in Upstate New York, Bo capitalized on his communication skills by starting his own marketing company. For the next five years, he partnered with owners in the auto, real estate, and hospitality industries. But when the U.S. and global economies experienced a recession in 2008, Bo embraced the challenge by re-focusing his company’s mission and serving credit unions and community banks, organizations committed to helping people protect themselves against similar financial downfalls.

True to form, Bo’s community focus and professional enthusiasm extend beyond a single location. While his primary residence and YMC headquarters are nestled in the revitalized beauty of Greenville, South Carolina, Bo and his wife, Amber, are also part-time residents of New Orleans, where they enjoy immersing themselves in the vibrant music, art, and culinary experiences of the Big Easy.

When he’s not working in his South Carolina office, Bo is most likely sitting in a client’s office, helping them develop strategic plans for growth. When he needs to rest and recharge, it’s a safe bet you’ll find him in New Orleans listening to a new band in the French Quarter, indulging his love of art on Royal Street, or entertaining friends in his backyard in historic Algiers Point.

In addition to leading one of the fastest growing marketing firms in the financial services industry and managing successful web design and digital marketing company, Bo is a sought-after speaker and a tireless champion of the nonprofit community. His civic engagement includes operating two companies that provide affordable housing in Greenville, SC, sitting on the boards of multiple nonprofit agencies, and serving as a member of his personal credit union’s supervisory committee.

Production Manager

Chad is a life-long designer with a passion for balance and accuracy. Prior to joining the team at Your Marketing Company, Chad worked as a creative and production artist for Greenville News and as a freelance Designer of high-end advertisements and campaigns for almost 15 years.

Your Marketing Company is lucky to have a talent like Chad Picha on board. Our clients benefit greatly from his expertise!

He describes his specialties as such: Photoshop nerd, color solutions, branding and identity, pre-press and 4-color process printing, and speculative campaign development.

Alex VanHaasteren

Alex VanHaasteren

Senior Web Developer

Alex grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and is a graduate of Winthrop University. Sticking to her southern roots, she decided to pursue a career in her hometown, becoming the first employee of uncommn. She brings her knowledge of design and development to the websites she creates, building user-friendly experiences for each client.

When she is not in the office, she enjoys playing with her Mini Labradoodle, Sophie, eating BBQ, and spending time with family. She also loves to travel, practice her painting skills, and try new restaurants.

Courtney Bravo

Courtney Bravo

Project Manager

Born in Massachusetts and raised in Myrtle Beach, Courtney graduated from Charleston Southern University (Go Bucs!) in historic Charleston, SC. After earning a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with concentrations in both Marketing and Sociology, she left the coast and relocated to Greenville, SC in search of a new adventure. Courtney started at uncommn in August 2018.

When not working, Courtney can be found exploring her new city, looking at famous dogs on Instagram, or searching for the best chicken wings in town!

Bryan Rimbey

Bryan Rimbey

Senior Graphic Designer

Hailing from the beautiful Pocono mountain region of Pennsylvania, Bryan received his B.A. in Commercial Design and Visual Communications from Lynchburg College in Virginia. Before starting his credit union marketing career 15 years ago, Bryan worked as a designer with the University of Virginia and spent a few years in the Midwest working with clients such as John Deere, ALCOA and Hon Furniture. Since his youth, art and design have always been his passion and he is grateful to have the opportunity to make it his livelihood.

In his downtime, Bryan enjoys camping and hiking trips with his family and rescue pup, Sage. He also works in his shop, re-purposing primitive items and furniture into home decor and finding his peace maintaining his small classic car and vintage camper collection.

Lauren Robirds

Lauren Robirds

Social Media Manager

Lauren attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC and graduated with a major in Advertising and a minor in Business. Lauren lived in the glorious Gamecock country that is Columbia for 13 years doing digital marketing, web development and design for politicians, not-for-profits and lawyers.

Lauren moved to the Greenville area in August of 2018 and, despite the plethora of orange Clemson paws, has learned to love the city for its natural beauty and cool weather. In her spare time, Lauren binges shows on Netflix or goes fishing with her boyfriend.
